Segregation Tracker

• The seed plating guide is designed to accommodate a 12 cm square Petri plate and guide the user where to place the seeds

• The guide has 4 squares for 49 seeds each, this number is sufficient for robust Chi-square test on a normally germinating transgenic line

• The idea is to ease visualization of the number of resistant and susceptible to the herbicide seedlings during establishing transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana lines.

• The long term goal is to establish a semi-automated assay that will segment images and identify the number of resistant and susceptible seedlings for each of the four lines on the plate and run Chi-square test.
